Frequently asked questions
How to find holistic and spiritual events, join them, run your own and list your venue on Wanderer.
Questions from participants
Wanderer (wanderer.live) is a platform for spiritual and holistic events, born in Italy. It's a website and a web app you can install on your phone. You use it to find and publish meditations, ceremonies, yoga, breathwork, sound healing, retreats and one-to-one sessions, in person in Italy or online. Events come from independent practitioners, each with a public profile and reviews from people who took part. Practitioners get the tools to publish, manage sign-ups and receive online payments, plus a catalog of venues where they can run their events. Wanderer started from a simple wish: one place for the events of a community that is scattered across chats and social media today.

On Wanderer, in Italy and online. Open the events page and filter by city, date and practice, or see events on the map. You'll find meditations, circles, cacao ceremonies, gong baths, yoga, breathwork, ecstatic dance, family constellations, retreats of one or more days and much more. Every event has its own page and a link to the profile of the person who leads it. To see only what's around you, use the events near you.

Yes. Many practitioners offer guided meditations, circles, programs and one-to-one sessions online, so you can join from home wherever you are. Every event clearly shows whether it takes place in person or online.
Learn more:Online eventsOne-to-one sessions
They're personal sessions with a practitioner, just the two of you: for example an energy treatment, a reiki session, counseling, breathwork or sound healing. They take place in person or online, and each one has its own page with duration, price, format and the practitioner's profile. You can book and pay directly on Wanderer, if the practitioner has turned it on, or express interest and arrange things with them.

On the practitioners page, search by city or tap “Near me”. Every practitioner has a public profile with a bio, practices, languages, upcoming and past events, one-to-one sessions and reviews from the community. Follow the ones that resonate with you to know when they publish something new.

It depends on how the practitioner set it up. If they manage sign-ups and payments on Wanderer, you book or buy your ticket right from the event or session page. Otherwise, click “Express interest”: the practitioner gets your profile and contact details and can write to you, and you get their contact channels so you can talk directly.
Yes. You'll find “Message…” next to the booking button on events and one-to-one sessions. Ask who the practice suits, what to bring, how it works. The practitioner also gets your message by email. You'll find all your conversations in Messages.
Yes. Creating an account, searching for events, following practitioners and leaving reviews is free, and you pay no fees to Wanderer when you book. The price on the event or session page is the price you pay, and the practitioner sets it. Many events are free or by donation.
It depends on how the practitioner set it up. If they've turned on online payments, you don't need an account: we only ask for your first name, last name and email to complete the booking. If they only use expressions of interest, you need a free account to share your contact details with the practitioner and to find the events and sessions you've reached out about.
If the event or session page shows a button to book or buy a ticket, you pay online by card, digital wallet or the other methods available in your country. Payments are handled by our partner Gomry through Stripe. If you only see “Express interest”, you agree on price and payment privately with the practitioner.
Every practitioner states their refund policy on the event or session page. If you paid through Wanderer, the practitioner can refund you directly from the platform under that policy. Depending on the case, fees may be covered by the practitioner or by the participant. If you arranged things directly with the practitioner, cancellations and refunds follow the terms you agreed with them.
If you paid through Wanderer and the practitioner cancels the event, you're refunded automatically. If you only expressed interest, Wanderer can't guarantee that the practitioner will reply or that the event will take place: it's a space to connect you, and what happens next is up to you and the practitioner. Either way, you're free to write to other practitioners or choose other events.
The badge next to a name shows a practitioner subscribed to Wanderer Guide, who has had or will have a short introductory call with our team. It doesn't certify qualifications, training or skills. To choose, read the profile and reviews and talk to the practitioner before you take part.
Yes. When you buy an experience or express interest in an event or session, the practitioner gets your profile and contact details so they can get in touch, and you get theirs. That's why it's best to express interest only in events and sessions you really want to join.

Yes, you can leave a review on a practitioner's profile: a star rating plus an optional comment. Reviews aren't limited to people who joined an event, so make sure yours is based on a real experience with that practitioner. You can also review the venues where you've practiced.
You get a notification every time that practitioner publishes a new event, and they can see that you follow them. Your follow also adds to the follower count on their profile. Every week, the Wanderer newsletter also brings you upcoming events.
Wanderer is a web app: you don't need to download it from an app store. Open wanderer.live on your phone and add it to your home screen (“Add to Home Screen” on iPhone, “Install app” on Android). It opens full screen, just like an app.
Yes, in Italy. With Wanderer for companies we organize turnkey team building, corporate retreats and wellbeing days, at your office or at a venue, with meditation, yoga, sound healing and other practices led by practitioners from the community. Tell us what you need and we'll send you a proposal.

Yes. Every event page and every session page has a “Report” option for content or behavior that worries you, and our team reviews every report. Practices that break the law are not allowed on Wanderer, including ceremonies with illegal substances.

Practitioners are fully responsible for their events and sessions. Wanderer makes the connection and, when the practitioner chooses it, handles sign-ups and payments, but it doesn't organize or supervise what happens during the experience, as set out in our Terms and conditions. Always check the details and talk to the practitioner before you take part, especially about anything to do with health and safety.

Questions from practitioners
Create a free account and, during onboarding, say you're a practitioner. Then click “Create an event” and fill in the guided form with description, date, price and place, in person or online. AI helps you polish the text and the practical details. Your event goes live as soon as you submit it, with no approval wait.

Retreats, workshops, ceremonies, circles, meditation, yoga, breathwork and sound healing sessions, courses, programs and one-to-one sessions, in person or online, from a single meeting to several days. Practices not allowed by law where the event takes place are banned, including ceremonies with illegal substances.

Publishing is free, with no limit on events. Free events always stay free. If you sell tickets online through Wanderer, each ticket carries a 7.5% service fee plus payment costs, which drops to 2.5% plus payment costs with Wanderer Guide. If you collect sign-ups and payments directly with participants, Wanderer takes nothing.

There are two ways. With payment management on Wanderer, for fixed-price events and sessions or donations with a minimum amount, participants pay online from the event page and the money reaches your account within a few days, handled by our partner Gomry. Or, by default, you agree price and method directly with the people who express interest: cash, bank transfer or whatever works for you both.
It's an option you choose when you create the event or session, instead of expressions of interest. Through our partner Gomry, Wanderer handles payments and the participant list for you. You can create several ticket types (Early Bird, single-day entry…), approve each new sign-up, see who has signed up in real time and export the participant list as a CSV from the management page.
The first time, fill in your payment details (tax details and IBAN) from your profile, under “Payout details”. Once that's done, you can turn on payment management for any future event or session with a fixed price or a donation with a minimum amount.
Because you get confirmed bookings instead of simple expressions of interest, and all your participants in one list with their contact details. People who discover you on Wanderer can book straight away, even without an account, and pay with the method they prefer.
We reinvest most of it in marketing and technology: more people discovering Wanderer, and so your events, and better tools to manage them.
Yes. You state your refund policy on the event or session page. On the management page you'll find the list of people who paid, with a button to refund anyone who asks. Depending on the case, fees may be covered by you or by the participant. If you cancel the event, everyone who paid is refunded automatically.
On the free plan you can publish 1 one-to-one session, with Wanderer Guide up to 3. Each session has its own page with duration, price and format, in person or online, and you can receive online payments just like for events.
Learn more:One-to-one sessions
Wanderer Guide is the subscription for practitioners who want more people to find them: a verified account badge, events and sessions ranked higher in discovery in the 30 days before the date, one event a month on the homepage, priority in the newsletter and on social media, up to 3 one-to-one sessions, Circle, a dashboard with data and tips, and fees reduced to 2.5% on tickets. It costs €19.99 a month or €199.90 a year (2 months free), VAT included, and you can cancel anytime. It gives you priority, not a guaranteed number of participants.

The verified account badge turns on straight away, together with Wanderer Guide. In the following days we'll reach out for a short introductory call with the team: you don't need to do anything. The badge doesn't certify qualifications, training or skills.
Yes. The chat appears next to the booking button on your events and sessions, switched on automatically for every practitioner, and people visiting your profile can message you from there too. Interested people send you their questions, you get an email for every new message and you reply from Messages. If you prefer, you can switch it off for a single event or session from its management page.
From your dashboard you see, for each event and session, who expressed interest or signed up, with their contact details, and you can mark who you've already contacted. If you've turned on online payments, you'll also find tickets sold, approvals and the CSV export of participants.
Yes, you can change details, price and capacity anytime from your dashboard. If you cancel, let the people who expressed interest know. If you've turned on payment management and people have already signed up, you can't turn it off: to stop sign-ups, cancel the event, and everyone who already paid is refunded automatically.
Yes, you can add other practitioners as co-hosts of an event, so they can help you with communication and management.
Every practitioner has a public profile with its own link: bio, practices, languages, social links, upcoming and past events and sessions, venues where you've practiced, followers and reviews from the community. It's what people look at before they book or follow you, so keep it complete and up to date.
